My podcast journey led me to a woman who chose to not leave women with Metastatic Breast cancer behind. Upon reading her story, immersing myself in her blog and watching all her videos I knew I wanted to know more. What had led her to make this choice? What was her vision of what she hoped to do? How would she really impact the lives of these women?

The choices we make have an impact. Small choices have the power to influence others in ways we can’t even begin to imagine. Months ago I saw a video called The Doorman about a young man named Josh Yandt who’d been depressed and bullied. After moving to a new high school he made the choice that he would no longer be invisible, and he took the “small” action to hold the door open for all the students of his new school. At first the kids looked at him quizzically, unsure of his motives. But then, things changed, and not only did his life shift but he changed the culture of his school.
